Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia and Finland reveal themselves between ancient fjords, golden dunes, picturesque villages and bustling capitals. From one port of call to the next, between friendly cities and wild nature such as the spectacular cliffs of Lysefjorden, let yourself be carried away by the history and beauty of these places, while enjoying unforgettable moments of jazz on board.

Winter getaway in helsinki (1 night)

Day 1 – Helsinki
Meet at Helsinki Airport in the Arrival hall. Look for PONANT sign. You will be greeted by our local representative off the flight selected by PONANT or any other flight (provided that you have previously communicated your flight schedule to your travel agent).
You will be transferred to your hotel in the city center of Helsinki.
End of the day and dinner at leisure.
Day 2 – Helsinki
After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred directly to the Kalkkiranta pier, where you will embark on board a steel boat (if the sea is clear) or a hovercraft (if there is ice).
After a 40-minute ride, you will reach a private island where you can experience a true feeling of winter and see what the archipelago looks like during colder months.
Your morning programme on the island includes a hike along a nature trail, as well as learning about cold water and survival skills in the water.
Then, a local buffet lunch will be served.
During the afternoon, a sauna experience will be possible. For guests who don’t want to do the sauna activity, they can just do the Jacuzzi if they wish to (showers available) or enjoy the calmness of the nature – the hosts are also on the island the whole time and the guests can hear about the archipelago living from them.
Transfer back to the mainland and drive to Helsinki.
You will then be transferred to the pier of Helsinki to embark on board your ship.

Immerse yourself in a chic, urban atmosphere rooted in Nordic culture at the 4-star Lapland Hotel Bulevardi, situated in Helsinki's vibrant Design District. Rooms equipped with all the modern comforts reveal a harmonious decor that pays tribute to nature. The restaurant offers cuisine with local influences, inspired by the Lappish forests.

Day 1 – Bergen
After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port by our local representative.
You will board your vehicle and leave Bergen for Hardanger, about 1 hour and 15 minute-drive.
Just before arriving you will make a photo stop at Steinsdalsfossen, a spectacular sight and, what is more, you can walk behind the waterfall on the path leading up from the car park without even getting wet. Following the riverbank, the path goes behind the waterfall and then out to the vantage point on the other side. From here, you can admire Steinsdalsfossen and enjoy beautiful views. With its 50-metre drop, the waterfall has become a popular attraction.
Then at the Maritime Museum of Hardanger, the guided tour will take you to discover an atypical place that houses a boat restoration workshop, exhibitions, rope making workshops, of wrought iron, and everything related to local shipbuilding know-how.
Lunch is served in a local restaurant.
During afternoon, you will learn all about Norwegian aquaculture in the beautiful Norwegian fjord, Hardangerfjord. You can see the floating salmon farm up close on a rubber boat. Hardanger Akvasenter is an open visitor centre for fish farming located in Øystese in Hardanger. Here you can learn all about Norwegian aquaculture and how runs the fish farms. You will be able to take a closer look at the fish farm on a rigid inflatable boat (RIB).

Day 2 - Bergen
After breakfast and check-out, time at leisure depending on your flight schedule.
