Born on April 16, 2005, in South Korea, Yè Eun Lee trained at the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts, then at Sunhwa Arts Middle School and the Korea National University of Arts, where she studied in particular under the guidance of Sonia Kim, Juhyun Jo, and Yonggeol Kim.

A prizewinner at several international competitions, she won First Prize at the 14th (2017) and 16th (2019) Seoul International Dance Competition, the Grand Prix at the YAGP Korea Competition (2019), as well as Second Prize at the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition (2016). In 2023, she ranked among the Top 12 Women at the Youth America Grand Prix – Classical.

She has performed numerous roles from the classical and contemporary repertoire, including Diana and Actéon, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, La Esmeralda, Stars and Stripes, Carmen, Theme & Variations, and The Nutcracker. She has appeared on stages such as the Seoul Arts Center, the Seoul Mapo Arts Center, the Busan Geumjeong Cultural Center, and the Korea National University of Arts.

She joined the Paris National Opera in 2025 and was promoted to Coryphée effective January 1, 2026.
