Krzysztof Lachman
The young Polish tenor Krzysztof Lachman is rapidly establishing himself on the opera and concert stage. His repertoire ranges from Mozart to Haydn, as well as Mendelssohn, Rossini, Lemoyne, and Milhaud.
In 2026, he will appear as Count Almaviva (Il barbiere di Siviglia) in Poznań, return to the stage of Łódź as Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), and make his highly anticipated debut at the Opéra de Dijon as Don Ramiro (La Cenerentola).
Among his recent successes are his international debut as Hippolyte (Phèdre by Lemoyne) at the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, the title role in Aureliano in Palmira (Rossini) with Capella Cracoviensis, and Libenskof (Il viaggio a Reims) at the prestigious Rossini Opera Festival. In concert, he has performed in Prague and Dresden in Mozart’s Requiem with the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also performed Die erste Walpurgisnacht by Mendelssohn and the Gran Sacerdote in Idomeneo (Mozart) at the Opera Rara Festival in Kraków, Coviello in Salade (Milhaud) conducted by Łukasz Borowicz in Warsaw, as well as the roles of Mengone (Lo Speziale) and Cecco (Il mondo della luna) by Haydn.
Born in Kraków, Krzysztof Lachman received his master’s degree in vocal performance in 2024 from the Academy of Music in Łódź, where he studied with Krzysztof Bednarek.
Since 2022, he has been a member of the Opera Academy of the Grand Theatre in Warsaw (Young Talents programme). He is also a prizewinner of the Witold Friemann National Competition in Rzeszów.
