Irina Stopina

Irina has a dual training as a singer and actress and won 3rd prize at the L.Bellan Competition in 2020. She has been following the teaching of L. Sarrazin since her beginnings and has participated in many master classes, notably with Anna Pirozzi and Mariella Devia. As an actress, she plays on major Parisian stages, national stages and in auteur cinema. She was a mezzo-soprano before tackling the roles of lyrico-spinto and dramatic soprano. Irina also has a license III in fundamental mathematics. Recently, Irina stood out at the Metz opera house in the whimsical role of La Baronne de Champigny in Nino Rota's Straw Hat from Italy, conducted by Jacques Mercier, we could also hear her in the main stage Abigaille by Nabucco, at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie and in Strauss's Four Last Lieder during the Libre Cour festival and in Puccini / Verdi at the Bordeaux opera during musical noon. We could hear her on several occasions in Micaela in Carmen under the direction of Romain Dumas or Alexis Duffaure, Métella in Parisian life at the opera of Metz and at the opera of Massy, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni of Mozart with the Arad State Orchestra as well as La Comtesse in The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart accompanied by the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Timisoara, the second lady in The Magic Flute by Mozart, Dido in Dido and Aeneas de Purcell under the direction of M. Trautmann. Since 2013, she has been in turn in the title role of La Périchole by Offenbach, Dorothée in Cendrillon by Massenet, Malika in Lakmé by Delibes, Nakamti in Padmavati by Roussel and Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte with Le Paris Symphonic Orchestra under the direction by C. Diederich.
In 2022, we note two roles taken: Violetta in La Traviata by Verdi at the L’eure en scène festival under the baton of Romain Dumas and Mimi in La bohème at the Lumière festival. She will reprise the role of La Comtesse (Les noces de Figaro) with the Contrast ensemble in Vienna.
