Dominique-Henri Freiche is a French citizen who lives in Kyoto, Japan, a country he knows since his youth and which fascinates him by many aspects. He is currently teaching International Business to Japanese high potential executives at the International Management Forum (www.imfjapan.com) in Kyoto and in Tokyo after having studied Japanese language for several years. A graduate in Sciences and Law, MBA, Freiche has resided on the 5 continents and held executive responsibilities during his career, from trade to art, luxury groups to wineyards and agro-industry. In 1999, he was chosen as one of 100 Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum in Davos. A Fellow of the French National Institute of Advanced Defense Studies (IHEDN) and a former Navy Officer, Freiche is particularly aware of the geopolitical forces at work in the region at an important time for Japan. A Fellow of the National Museum of Natural History (Paris), he follows with great attention all the efforts made by the regional NGOs and governments to protect biodiversity in the region.
