The capital of Curaçao stretches along the edge of St Ann's Bay on the island's south-west coast, and its historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site. A profusion of colour awaits you on the Handelskade quays, where it's a pleasure to stroll alongside the merchants' houses whose rainbow façades characterise Dutch colonial architecture.
